AVANT® fiber posts provide a reliable and technologically advanced solution for the reconstruction of endodontically treated teeth, combining mechanical safety, clinical aesthetics, and ease of use. Designed to meet the demands of modern dentistry, AVANT® posts ensure perfect integration between the canal support and the restorative material, contributing to the long-term stability of the tooth-restoration complex.
Available in three variants—white glass fiber, black carbon fiber, and translucent fiber—they adapt perfectly to different clinical needs: from aesthetic priority in anterior teeth to cases requiring higher mechanical strength in posterior regions. Each version is engineered to offer excellent chemical and physical compatibility with composites, resin cements, and adhesives, ensuring stable and durable cementation.

Thanks to their optimal elastic modulus of approximately 54 GPa, very close to that of natural dentin, AVANT® fiber posts enable harmonious distribution of functional loads along the canal walls. This biomechanical balance significantly reduces localized stress peaks, decreasing the risk of root fractures and improving the long-term prognosis of the restored tooth.
Moreover, the high flexural strength, which can exceed 1,200 MPa depending on the variant, allows the post to effectively absorb and dissipate occlusal and parafunctional forces, even in patients with high loads or bruxism habits.
AVANT® posts are available in a wide range of anatomical shapes and diameters, including cylindrical, conical (with various taper degrees), and oval models, providing excellent adaptability to individual canal morphology. This variety minimizes the removal of residual dentin and ensures a precise passive fit, which is essential for effective cementation and preservation of healthy tissue.
Using AVANT® posts in combination with biocompatible resin cements—such as URC (Universal Resin Cement)—creates a stable, monolithic adhesive interface, further enhancing mechanical and chemical retention. The interaction between fiber, cement, and composite produces a “monobloc” effect that reinforces the entire prosthetic complex, reducing the risk of microleakage, decementation, or secondary fractures.
In summary, AVANT® combines material engineering, clinical functionality, and prosthetic aesthetics, offering a complete and predictable solution for conservative reconstruction of endodontically treated teeth, even in complex clinical cases or those with high biomechanical risk.
Why Choose AVANT® Fiber Posts?
The complete line of fiber posts designed to meet every clinical need.

Glass Fiber Posts
White glass fiber posts provide high flexural strength, excellent resilience, and superior adhesion to restorative composite materials. Their main advantage is outstanding aesthetic performance, making them ideal for anterior regions. Additionally, they are easily retrievable if necessary.

Carbon Fiber Posts
Carbon fiber posts provide high flexural strength, good resilience, and excellent adhesion to restorative composites. Their main limitation is the dark coloration, which may be less aesthetic in certain clinical situations. However, they are easily retrievable if retreatment is necessary.

Translucent Posts
Translucent fiber posts share the same physical and mechanical properties as carbon and glass fiber posts, but they offer the added advantage of facilitating cementation in the root canal by transmitting curing light all the way to the apex. They are also ideal for achieving highly aesthetic restorations in anterior regions.

Monocore®
Monocore is a glass fiber endodontic post composed of an upper portion (core) and a lower conical post. Designed to meet the needs of restoring endodontically treated teeth with severe coronal damage, Monocore offers several clinical advantages: Micro-roughened surface for improved adhesion; Available in two sizes: small and large; Provides a fast solution for post-endodontic build-ups; Significantly reduces cement usage, as half of the build-up is pre-formed; For multi-rooted molars, Monocore can be used in combination with a second Monocore post.

Adapt Post
Adapt Post is a glass fiber endodontic post consisting of an upper portion (core) and a lower conical post. The upper portion can be easily shaped with a diamond bur, allowing for fast and precise restoration. Thanks to its wide coronal section, Adapt Post is also suitable for restorations on implants with angled emergence profiles.

Fit Post
Fit Post is a glass fiber endodontic post, consisting of an upper portion (core) that can be easily shaped with a diamond bur and a lower conical post. The lower portion can be placed either within the root canal or inside an implant. Its micro-roughened surface enhances adhesion, while the chamfered design makes Fit Post compatible with most implants on the market.

Post Ball
Post Ball is a radiopaque glass fiber post designed for prosthetic reconstruction and anchoring. It features a micro-roughened surface that enhances adhesion to restorative materials. The post comes with a connection cap to attach to the ball-shaped terminal portion. Post Ball is ideal for anchoring removable prostheses and can be used in the fabrication of implant-supported prostheses and bars, such as those made with Trilor Disc or Trilor Arch. In these cases, the post can be shortened and cemented directly onto the prosthetic framework. Its special techno-polymer composition is engineered to maintain the spherical shape of the ball, preventing deformation (such as ovalization). Compatible with all caps of 1.8 mm and 2.5 mm diameter.

Bicore
Bicore is an innovative modular restorative system composed of two distinct elements: an endodontic post and a coronal core. This two-part configuration provides enhanced clinical versatility and allows optimal customization of the restoration according to the patient’s specific needs. Designed for post-endodontic reconstructions, Bicore is ideal for both direct restorations and as support for prosthetic crowns, offering excellent aesthetic integration thanks to the translucency of the glass fiber and the anatomical shape of the core. One of the main advantages of Bicore is its ability to efficiently absorb and distribute occlusal loads, reducing stress on the remaining tooth structure and adhesive. The separation between the post and core also allows for a more precise fit and easier handling during clinical procedures, improving workflow efficiency. Bicore is recommended in cases where a strong, reliable, and aesthetically pleasing reconstruction is required, even in situations of severe coronal damage.
